Critical Cup of Director of Ghost Of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima is a 2020 action-adventure game established by Sucker Punch Productions and released by Sony Interactive Home Entertainment. Including an open world, the player manages Jin Sakai, a samurai on a pursuit to safeguard Tsushima Island throughout the first Mongol intrusion of Japan. The game was released for PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020, and a Director's Cut for PlayStation 4 as well as PlayStation 5 was launched on August 20, 2021. It obtained praise for its visuals and battle, but was criticized for its open world activities. Ghost of Tsushima additionally earned several award nominations as well as victories, and also sold 6.5 million copies by March 2021.
Since Ghost of Tsushima was our choice for the game of the year 2020, I did not doubt that the new Director's Cut would be just as nice as the first time. But I am pleased to say that my expectations have been broken wholeheartedly. If you look forward to getting you back to Jin Sakai's place, or if you have not taken the footstep yet, I beg you not to wait. One of the best games of the decade has improved and the island of Tsushima awaits you.
I do not want to spend too much time covering what James Paley of Cogconnected said about the game during his initial release. He put his finger on his head. Ghost of Tsushima is an incredible trip highlighted by breathtaking visuals, an intense and addictive gameplay and the performance of its cast that will make you cry. It's quite brilliant and a complete triumph for Sucker Punch Productions.
The most impressive, perhaps, was the shocking amount of post-launch DLC that was served us on a silver tray. For starters, and at our knowledge, Sucker Punch had a thorough multiplayer mode cooking in the kitchen throughout the promotion of the game. And when they announced that we were going to be able to spawn a path through missions designed for up to Four of your nearest friends, fans rejoiced. Then he started and it was fantastique.
Now, quickly move around for a year later and we get another major update of Ghost of Tsushima in the way of Director's Cut. Included, you will now see that the game operating at 60 frames per second and a clear 4K resolution await you. I can not insist on the incredible beauty of environments. It's really something everyone should experiment with himself.
Although your environment is the show of the show, I have to congratulate the implementation by Sucker Punch of the Dualsense controller. The haptic return and adaptive triggers show what the dualsense is able to do much better than most games appeared from the output of the PS5. And they use the speaker in the controller more efficiently than any other game I played. The way in which the slamming of the blades, the howling the wind or the melody of the flute resonates in my palms adds a level of immersion that was simply not there before the Director's Cut.
Speaking of some of these new goodies found in the Director's Cut, the Iki Island extension has been breathtaking. All, burning beaches with melancholy plains that echo the memories of Jin's past, is extremely attractive to explore. It was a treat to plunge more deeply into the history of the Sakai clan, especially since the events surrounding the death of Jin's father remained relatively intact the first time. Add some mini-games, a handful of new capabilities - including a gentle horse load attack - and one or two pieces of advanced armor, and you quickly realize that EIKI ISLAND is a list of ingredients describing How to correctly cook downloadable content.
As was the case when launching, the problems appear relatively rarely, but expect to find yourself a handful of audio and visual bugs. Nothing has ever been bad enough to harm my experience with Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, but it should be mentioned that it is well expanding that it is this remill, it always wears some of the burdens that the original was wearing.
The most disturbing was the number of accidents I had to overcome. I was returned to my home screen more times during the few days I played the new content throughout the game on PS4. And it rarely seems that there is a rhyme or a reason to explain why this happens. In any case, save often and everything will be fine. However, if your backup file is corrupted, it simply means that you can play more at Ghost of Tsushima. I am not angry with that.
My words will never make justice with ghost of tsushima. James Paley summarized her better than I could never: [Ghost of Tsushima] has been shown as a work of irresistible and masterful art. Nothing seems useless or superfluous. The story takes little time, the fighting are all exuberant and engaging, the exploration is addictive and the whole game is beautiful. I could not be more agree. And the Director's Cut is Milles before the original. Go and get it.
