Bayer Leverkusen binds Lucas Alario to 2024
Attacker Lucas Alario remains Bundesligaist Bayer Leverkusen yet. The 28-year-old, who had worn with emigration, extended his contract at the factory club prematurely until 30 June 2024. His old contract had a term until 2022. Since 2017, the Argentine stands in services of the Rhine countries. "Of course, we were already aware of how valuable Lucas is for Bayer 04. But his very good last season has awakened the interest of other clubs," said sports managing director Rudi Völler. Alario was involved in 33 competitive games in the past season in 19 goals.
