Based in Paris, New Tales is the latest studio founded by old Blizzard

Nothing more common nowadays than to announce a studio founded by old Blizzard, but New Tales still has a little something different. Based in Paris, this new structure is above all from voluntary departures but many unfortunate people who have lost their jobs during the high-profile closing of Blizzard Versailles offices.

More than just an independent studio, New Tales is off with the dual publisher and developer cap. A fantasy it can afford thanks to its team of veterans with an average of 22 years of experience in the video game industry. CVs on which include companies like Blizzard, Ubisoft, Sega, Lucasarts, Activision and Sierra, as well as licenses like World of Warcraft, Half-Life, Hearthstone, Ever quest, Call of Duty, Sonic, Diablo, Crash Bandicoot and Overwatch.

New Tales aims to develop its own licenses internally but also to share its publisher services to other studios looking for a partner. At the head of the company, Cédric Marshal and almost 30 years of experience, including former Managing Director of Blizzard Entertainment at Versailles. And if they are ancient Blizzard Activision that you want, the co-founders Benoit Du four, Delphine The Core, Emmanuel Robert, Ray Greek or Julia Humphreys all went there.

We have formed a team of passionate players with an unparalleled degree of experience, having developed some of the largest licenses and communities of players. The game has rarely known as exciting, fueled by tons of innovation and creativity. However, the frequency of new outputs continues to grow rapidly, which reinforces the need for a large international edition, comments on CEO Cédric Marshal. New Tales is already at work with partners who share his ambitions while constituting an internal workforce to produce his first franchise, even if no developer position is yet to be filled on the official website of the studio.

Byeee!

As a reminder, there are at least five other studios founded by old Blizzard in recent years: Dream haven, Second Dinner, Frost Giant Studios, Uncapped Games and Notorious Games. If these studios have been created with specific specialties in mind, including the RTS and MMORPG, we do not yet know how much to go New Tales.
