Rumor: Anthem should not be dead because Bioware plans bigger overhauls

Anthems incredibly stony way from the start to the game, which a handful of people may play today, is very well documented, so let us come to the point. According to a new report by Kotaku, the developer Bioware has great plans for his looter shooter, which is called the entire experience completely revised - internally called the team Anthem Next or Anthem 2.0.

The always reliable Jason Schreier indicates that not even a range of distribution or a schedule for publication in stone is still carved. However, Bioware plans to completely change the mission structure, the prey and the open world of the game. "We spent a few months to demolish it and find out what fundamentally changing (a lot). Since then we build it again."

Both offices of Bioware should support reconstruction by disassembling the world map in parts and seriously dealing with what the studio looks at as a mission. This lets us believe that the monumental update is still far away.

Could the PlayStation 5 be a project aimed at the next generation of consoles instead of being a simple updating of the current PlayStation 4 title? Final Fantasy XIV Online: A Realm Reborn is proof that this type of resuscitation efforts can work well. So we would not be surprised when Publisher EA would try to put anthem on the legs as soon as the PS5 is in all our homes.
