New World Controller Support - How to play with the Gamepad

To play New World with the controller, this guide follows:

• Connects your controller to the PC
• Then opens Steam
• Top left you then click on the "Steam" button
• Now choose the "Settings" tab and click on the "Controller" button
• Now goes to "General Controller Settings" to select your controller
• Now configures your controller, as you would like to have it and then saves the controller configuration
• Now your Steam must move into the "Big Picture" mode. To do this, click in the main menu of your library on the small "Enlarge" button top right
• If you start the game now, Steam forces the title just to the controller and you can play

Please note, however, that New World will not work perfectly. The game is not designed for controller and gamepad control. We can not guarantee you that you can use the full functionality of New World on this way.

Alternatively, you can also resort to the following programs. But we do not guarantee the functioning of the external tools:

All these are certainly not optimal solutions for playing with the controller, but it offers at least one way to experience New World with the Gamepad. At least to, maybe someday, the official support comes to it.

Controller Support is more than convenience

What is it still? Controller support is for many only one thing of the convenience because they are just on the road with the gamepad. But there is much further than that. There are many players with restrictions, the mouse and keyboard difficult or even can not operate.
