New details about the Nintendo Switch Pro were disclosed
We are all on the edge of our seats since Bloomberg has announced a possible exit date of the Nintendo Switch Pro. Now, the Spanish newsletter Vandal has disclosed several details of the new reported design. Information on the updated new Switch hardware has been collected from a Chinese accessories manufacturer. Only time will tell us how precise the leak is, but in the meantime, let's take a look. According to Vandal, the overall size of the console will be about the same as that of the original Nintendo Switch, with a borderless screen that will offer up to 7 inches larger. We do not yet know the resolution of this screen, but when connected to the TV, the console will support the 4K output. It seems rather excellent, but what does he have to offer else?
A touch of backward compatibility, for one. Apparently, the SWITCH Pro will support the original Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers, which is good. The console will also include a folding medium at the back, as well as the original model, so that the players can maintain it in a stable position - and the screen at a good angle - on any surface on which the console can be balanced. It will probably not stand up on a pouf, that's what we say, but a table should be very good.
The console docking station will have both USB 3.0 and Ethernet ports, and the microSD port will be located on the opposite side of that of the basic switch template. It's pretty much everything we know so far, unfortunately. At the time of writing, nothing has been disclosed on internal material specifications, nor on the price, elsewhere. If rumors are true, we can expect to know more about the E3 2021 approach.
