For the first time since 2018: Tour controls Alpe d Huez in the coming year
Director Christian Prudhomme introduced the 21 stages on Thursday in the Parisian Palais des Congrès. The tour starts on July 1st in Copenhagen and is traditionally ending on the Parisian Champs-Élysées to Belgium and Switzerland on July 24th. By starting in Denmark there are three instead of two resting days for the bike professionals.
Northern The Grand Depart of History
Copenhagen and Denmark are a new border for the tour. It will be the northernmost Grand Départ of the story, Prudhomme said at the presentation held again as a presence event.
