MMORPG Bless Unleashed appears for PC - promises a lot of action

On August 6, the MMORPGBLESS UNLEASHED will appear for the PC. Meinmo editor Alexander Leitsch reveals you what that is for a game and talked to the developers about the peculiarities, the endgame and upcoming updates.

What is that for a MMORPG? Bless Unleashed is a free-to-play MMORPG with an open world that focuses its focus mainly on action-packed fighting. You can actively target your enemies, run various combos and escape enemy attacks by an escape role.

There are 5 different classes to choose from, with which you can fall into the adventure. The game starts at the beginning of classic quests, which tell a main story about level 25. Later, world bosses, dungeons and territories with open PVP are to challenge you. Another important aspect is the crafting system over which you can come to better equipment.

Bless Unleashed appeared in March 2020 for the Xbox and autumn for the PlayStation. Now the release for the PC version is imminent.

In the following interview with Jason Park, the Head of Round8 Studios, we now focused on the peculiarities of the game, the endgame and the upcoming updates.

Bless Unleashed should be able to assert yourself with a lot of action against other MMORPGs

Meinmmo: 2021 is a year full of new MMORPGs with us in the West. Why and what can Bless Unleashed pick up from the competition?

Jason Park : We believe that Bless Unleashed is the only MMORPG in which the player can experience a real action feeling in a multiplayer game.

One of the unique characteristics of the game is the huge world full of powerful field monsters on which players can experience heavy fights and exciting tension.

In addition, the different items, options and skill systems that support you are also solid, so the players hopefully enjoy a unique experience.

How does the combat system work? Bless Unleashed is a very fast and action-packed game. The fighting made fun in the beta tests because the attacks are very powerful and the animations really succeeded.

However, her bless Unleashed plays better with the controller, because your combos consist of changing use of the left and right mouse button. In addition, you have access to 3 capabilities that you create on other keys. It is clear that the MMORPG was first developed for consoles.

That awaits you in the endgame of Bless Unleashed

MYMMO: One of the key points of each MMORPG is the endgame. Which content can players expect in Bless Unleashed? What is there to do if you reach the endgame?

Jason Park: Although the maximum level is in Bless Unleashed 45, the players can only enjoy endgame content when they have completed the main quest in the Kannus valley. But that is usually the case when the character has reached at least level 25.

Depending on the development and equipment of the character, you can enter 5-player dungeons, temporal-limited dungeons, as well as invasions where your powerful equipment can farm. In addition, players can produce stronger and more diverse items by defeating field monsters and experience battlefield contents where they can measure with other players.

Finally, there is another estate system in which the players can set up their own house, and through the property you can earn new ribs, equipment and consumables.

Meinmmo: One of the endgame content is open PVP in certain areas. But many players do not like open PVP. Why did you decide to take it in Bless Unleashed?

Jason Park : We like Open-PVP due to our preference for classic MMOS, but we also know that not every player wants to play like that. Therefore, we allow each player to choose whether to participate in the PVP of Bless Unleashed or not.

It is not really open PVP, it's just another option for the players who like this style of play.

How does the open PVP? From Level 30, the players can optionally enable PVP mode in Bless Unleashed. This allows other players to be attacked in the open world and outside of safe zones (cities and low-level areas). For attacking players who have disabled PVP, there is negative karma.

Through negative karma other players can kill you unpunished and from a certain point you can not enter any cities, as they also attack guards. However, the negative karma gradually decreases through Ingame playing time.

New classes and GVG are planned, a new roadmap should come after the PC release

MYMMO: Bless Unleashed will finally appear on the PC. Will the version be identical to the on consoles?

Jason Park : The development of new updates for PC and consoles is done as well as possible in the same way, but it can always come to small differences. The update for the PC platform can even be done a bit faster.

The reason for this is that with consoles the patch policy for each platform is different, so the update for the PC platform can even be done slightly faster. But by and large, the content is brought into play in the same rhythm.

Which updates existed for console? For the console version already several new story episodes, new dungeons, the "Ancient Weapons" as a new equipment level and last a new Arena Challenge published. Currently, despite the question, we are not quite clear whether the PC version will already have this content or not.

MYMMO: And how exactly see the future updates for Bless Unleashed?

Jason Park : We prepare various new content for the future of Bless Unleashed on the PC. To give you a few examples: we work on a guild-against-guild mode in which guilds can compete against each other, at a new class and much more.

An updated roadmap will be published after publication, so please remain it.

Bless Unleashed plays in the same world as Bless, but should not repeat the old mistakes

How are Bless and Bless Unleashed in relation? The new Bless Unleashed is developed by Round8 Studios. This is a subsidiary of the company that had already published Bless online. Both MMORPGs play in the same world, but in a different time.

In an older interview, the developers already betrayed us that they want to avoid the mistakes of failed bless online. Bless Unleashed was completely programmed to zero and should be technically better optimized.

Especially on the PC version was finally busy. Originally, the release should take place in the first quarter of 2021. But there have been great adjustments to the control and the UI, as well as a number of Quality of Life updates.
