Ghost of Tsushima: How to Leave the Island Iki

The expansion Iki Island in the Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut prevents them from leaving the island until they reached a certain point in history. For narrative reasons, Jin remains fixed during the largest part of the DLC on the island of Iki, but they will eventually be able to return to the main island of Tsushima. Luckily they are not trapped long on the new island and it's pretty easy to return to the main game when they are ready. So leave the island of Iki in Ghost of Tsushima.

Once you have started the extension Iki Island, you can not go until you have completed all major missions on the island. The DLC begins with a quest called Journey into the past, and you will achieve a very clear point where there is no back anymore before you complete this quest. Fortunately, Iki Island's quest series only takes a few hours when focusing on the main missions of the story.

While the main history of the IKI Island expansion is only a few hours long, the island is packed with optional subcontacts that they will deal much longer. After completing the main history, you can return to Iki later and end all mythic valley, side quests and collectibles that you missed.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut has a lot to offer both new and recurring players, and it's a good reason to return to the beautifully designed world of Sucker Punch. We loved the Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and a score of 4.5 / 5 stars in our review. We especially praised Iki Island and said, Although the improvements of the Director's Cut are estimated, IKI island expansion is the true star of this new publication. Iki Island combines the best parts of Ghost of Tsushima in a focused experience and offers an incredibly convincing reason to return to the game.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is now available for PS4 and PS5.
